What they're saying aboutWISH I HAD A NICKEL

You know that moment when you are reading a book and you realize that there isn’t enough time left in the story for everything YOU want to happen in it? Yeah, that happened to me.

...most authors I’ve read don’t write like that, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Wish I Had a Nickel was one of those books I didn’t want to end, as I loved being wrapped up in the story of Alex and Leigh.

I JUST found out it is book 2 in The Sand Dollar Series. Book 3 doesn't come out until 2019 and it's the first that has been added to my "next year release TBR".

The characters are interesting.  There are layers to them and it's not always obvious what they are thinking. This is an interesting story because it's told from the male's point of view.

Books:

It’s been a long time since I felt this way about a novel that wasn’t designed as a thriller or mystery!
The characters and storyline for this novel is truly well written, JD Boudreaux is incredibly talented in painting a picture of characters I felt that I knew and could relate to.

Alex is a good hearted man, who is always looking at how to help people if he is able. Alex isn't prepared for meeting Penny, but there is something about her that draws him in. Penny for Your Thoughts is a great story that pulls you in, makes you believe in the power of miracles, and was very uplifting to read.

This is a contemporary romance book that will take you on an emotional roller coaster ride from laughter to maybe even a couple of tears. This is a book about discovering love. This is my first book by this author and I enjoyed it. I enjoyed her creative writing style that kept me engaged throughout the story right up to the end. Her characters are both connectable and true to life. They will warm your heart and maybe even break it at the same time.

Penny is a reporter and while doing a story to discover if you can still rely on the kindness of strangers, she meets the kindest man alive Alex. Can you find love at the side of the highway?

The love story between Alex and Penny is sweet, this story will make you both laugh and cry and make you want to grab the next book in the series immediately!

NEWS & EVENTS:

IT'S HERE!

Born two days apart in the same hospital, and with their mothers becoming best friends, Alex and Leigh grew up to be inseparable. They were fierce protectors of each other, and it was only natural for everyone to assume they would one day find their happily-ever-after together.

Unfortunately, nothing in life is that simple.

When Leigh’s family decided to move to another state , it was only a matter of time before the distance between her and Alex caused them to drift apart…until finally, the special connection they had shared was lost. Thirty years later, fate offers a chance at reuniting, but is it possible to erase years of separation? Or will fate require a little help?

Can a matchmaking mother and a smart-mouthed daughter working behind the scenes help Leigh and Alex regain what was lost? Will their reunion lead to love? Or another long good-bye?
